Greetings

Hello and welcome to the ILSN Autumn Newsletter 2005.

Our Spring Open Day which was held on Saturday, 16th April 2005 was a huge success with Ursula Bates, Senior Clinical Psychologist, St Vincent’s University Hospital being our guest speaker, while Jean Marc Monseaux, Physiotherapist at St James Hospital, Dublin gave a practical demonstration of Manual Lymph Drainage and Bandaging.

Now that the nights are drawing in, it means we are are turning full circle since the Spring Newsletter was published. I’m sure a lot of us with both primary and secondary lymphoedema are glad the intense heat of the summer is now gone and we can enjoy the cooler atmosphere.
Although time is passing so quickly we would like you to know that the ILNS committee is still beavering away on your behalf.

The ILSN is a voluntary organisation which campaigns for provision of treatment for sufferers of both primary and secondary lymphoedema and aims to promote awareness of the condition amongst the medical profession.
