Newsletter ~ Autumn 2006

Welcome

Hello and welcome to our “new look” newsletter and logo launched in time for our autumn 2006 Open Day.

As we go to press, we hope everyone is making the most of the beautiful weather but bearing in mind that those of us with Lymphoedema do tend to suffer more in the heat.
During the past few months we have worked on a new brand name and logo. It was decided that Lymphoedema Ireland would replace the old title of Irish Lymphoedema Support Network. Whereas the old name and logo has served us very well until now, it was time for a revamp to bring them up to date. We hope you approve of the new name, together with the new eye-catching logo design. The new logo is plain and simple – straight to the point. The shamrock serves to identify us as being Irish.

And also as promised in a previous newsletter, we are delighted to herald in our new website which is now up and running and can be accessed at www.lymphireland.com
We hope you find the website both informative and interesting. It will be updated regularly to bring you the latest news in the world of Lymphoedema. Links will be provided to many relevant sites including “MLD Ireland”.
