New Chairperson and Hon Secretary!

You will be pleased to know that we have a new Chairperson and Hon. Secretary.
Our chairperson is Patricia Hannigan. Patricia is a physiotherapist, and provides immeasurable health advice to the committee on which she has herself served for a number of years.
May O'Connor, herself a sufferer of Secondary lymphoedema is our new Hon. Secretary. She has also served on the committee previously.

Computerisation for Lymphoedema Ireland.

We are delighted to tell you that Ciara Griffin has joined us as our IT expert/specialist. We are currently involved in the purchase of a new computer, which will allow us to compile a database and generate more precise statistics to present to the Minister for Health on lymphoedema sufferers in Ireland.

We are also involved in the design of a brand new website, which will aid us greatly in keeping everyone updated and allow us to rapidly distribute information on lymphoedema.
