Spring Open Day 2007

We extend a warm céad míle fáilte to our speakers who will address us at our Open Day on March 24th, 2007. Our speakers are Jill Lorrimer and Barbara Burbidge.

Treatment of Lymphoedema using Physiotherapy

Jill Lorrimer is a clinical specialist physiotherapist in Lymphoedema management in the Cancer Care Unit at Belfast City Hospital, where her team work with breast care nurses and wound management nurses.

The Benefits of belonging to a support Group

Barbara Burbridge is a patient with Primary Lymphoedema and has been a member of the LSN since 1995. Working as a volunteer in the LSM office Barbara subsequently became a Trustee of the Charity and also a support group coordinator.
